The soul is the source of all reality, but the domain of the soul is beyond your everyday reality.

“Extreme difficulties should be regarded as a compliment for it is a sign that you're a soul, being tested to see if you're ready to rise to the next level towards spirituality.” ~ Anthony Sunny Kunneth

"There is an ancient saying from India about the soul: “Fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it, wind cannot dry it and weapons cannot cleave it. It’s ancient, it’s unborn, and it never dies.” The soul is the source of all reality, but the domain of the soul is beyond your everyday reality.

Experience your soul. By spending time in silence, by

quieting the time bound conversation in your head and turning in to the timeless, peaceful quiet of your soul. When you experience complete silence in your body and mind, then you recognize that you are not your thoughts but the Being who is having the thoughts. While we may all seek to find a spiritual Master or teacher to help us along the path of illumination, to show us the way or point us in the right direction, ultimately the truth is that the Master lies within each and every one of us. For only from within can we remove the veils of illusion that bind us to the artificial light of this earthly plane. Only then can we light the lamp of knowledge, if we so desire it, so that we can see the truth and in doing so wake up from this deep maya or slumber.

Many times, as we journey along this extreme difficult path to spiritual enlightenment, we learn how to tap into our inner-selves, through the awareness of other fellow travelers. By sharing, not only our triumphs, but more importantly our failures, we grow and rise higher and higher towards that one goal…to return to that place of Universal Love.

When a person is all the time occupied doing good to others, there is a constant joy arising; and that joy creates a heavenly atmosphere, creating within him that heavenliness which is in fact his inner life. This world is so full of thorns, so full of troubles, pains and sorrows, and in this same world he lives; but by the very fact of his trying to remove the thorns from the path of another, although they prick his own hands, he rises and this gives him that inner joy which is his spiritual realization for others. It is then that he finds the Spiritual Master residing within himself. It is not a mystical revelation, surreal attainment or a magical process. It is only the beginning of the spiritual awakening within himself when he finds his questions to be more thought provoking than the answers—while coming together as a spiritual family to teach each others, to learn from one another, to help each other on this sometimes difficult path of his journey. Even though the path may be thorny, when he taps into the resources of the mental faculty of his fellow travelers, it is made less prickly by the rose petals laid down by his spiritual brothers and sisters as he unites with them.

The average man cannot understand the dormant spirituality within themselves and therefore many of them are always at a loss when dealing or seeking it. The men who have attained spiritual enlightenment do not speak about spirituality, or much about the philosophy of life. Their spiritual philosophy and religious spirituality are always seen in their action towards others. There is love gushing forth from their heart every moment of their life, and they are occupied in doing good to others. They consider everyone who comes near them as their brother or sister, as their child; they take an interest in the joy and the sorrow of all people, and do all they can to guide them, to instruct them, to advise them through their lives. In this way the spiritual person who have sought the Master within himself may be a teacher, a preacher, or a philanthropist; but in whatever form he may appear, the chief thing in his life is his service to mankind, doing good to another, bringing happiness to someone in some form or the other; and the joy that he receives from this is a high spiritual ecstasy, for every act of goodness and kindness has a particular joy which brings the air of heaven to his very soul.

There are very few souls who have attained spiritual enlightenment anywhere, living in the garb of a self-realized man who shows no outwardly trace of philosophy or mysticism or religion, or any particular morals; and yet his presence is a battery of power, his glance most inspiring, there is a commanding expression in his looks; and if he ever speaks, his word is like the promise of God. What he says is truth; but he rarely speaks a word, it is difficult to get a word out of him; but once he has spoken or commanded, it is done.

There is no end to the variety of the outward appearance of spiritually enlightened souls in life; but at the same time there is no better way of living in this world living the inner spiritual self, outwardly as well as inwardly. Whatever be one's profession, work, or a part in the outer life, he should perform it sincerely and truthfully, to fulfill one's mission in the outer life thoroughly while at the same time keep the inner realization intact and should reflect the inner realization of truth.

Therefore dear friends, strive to seek the Spiritual Master that is within you through meditation, love, kindness, compassion and exploration of your purpose in this universe, when you face extreme difficulties in life. It is only when you seek; a deep realization of the mysteries of all life’s illness will dawn upon you and help you overcome the pangs of pain, loss, suffering and hardship."
